【摘要】:Whilethistestmethodisintendedforuseinmetal-to-metalapplicationsitmaybeusedformeasuringthefatiguepropertiesofadhesivesusingplasticadherends,providedconsiderationisgiventothethicknessoftheplasticadherends.Doublersmayberequiredforplasticadherendstopreventbearingfailureintheadherends.Avariationinthethicknessoftheadherendscaninfluencethetestresults.Forthisreason,thethicknessofthesheetsusedtomakethetestspecimensshouldbespecifiedinthematerialspecification.Whennothicknessisspecified,metaladherends1.63mm(0.064in.)thickarerecommended.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoffatiguestrengthinshearbytensionloadingofadhesivesonastandardspecimenandunderspecifiedconditionsofpreparation,loading,andtesting.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
