【摘要】:Thistestmethodwillprovideinformationontherelativetendencyoftapestocurl,twist,orformintoatubewithtouchingedges.Theamountofeachisapredictorofthedifficultyonemightexperienceinhandlingstripsoftapeofanylengthduringtheirapplication.Thereareseveralcausesforvariationintheextentordegreeofthesecharacteristicsandmayvarythemselveswithinaproductionlotoftape.Therefore,itisessentialtouseanacceptedsamplingplan(seeSection7)whenitisdesiredtousethistestmethodtocomparetwotypesoftapeforacceptancesamplingpurposes.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesoneprocedurefordeterminingtheextentofcurlingandthedegreeoftwistingresultingfromtheunwindingoftapefromitsroll.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependently,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
